2 months old

Anna Grace is 2 months old today and had her 2 month doctor visit. She weighs 11 pounds 15 ounces, and she's 23.5 inches long. She got her first shots and was not happy about that. The doctor said she was the first perfectly healthy baby she's seen in weeks. Her growth is perfect, she doesn't have colic or reflux, no heart murmurs, and her neck muscles are getting stronger. The only minor problem is the flat spot she's getting on one side of her head because she prefers to look to one side. She's getting a flat spot because she actually sleeps on her back. Speaking of sleeping....she slept 8 hours the other night! I didn't know babies could do that! And she can already put herself to sleep, it's amazing. God knew what we went through with Allie and has made things easier for us by giving us Anna Grace.

Allie has been wonderful! We have adjusted her diet some to include more natural and organic foods and we have seen quite a difference. The behavior we would usually blame on her being 2 has disappeared. She goes right to sleep at night without an argument. She'll even ask to go to bed sometimes. Last Sunday in the nursery at church, she fell and hit her head pretty hard. They said she cried for awhile for Mommy and Daddy, then when they told her we couldn't come right then she asked for Anna Grace. So, they took her across the hall to be with her little sister and that made the tears go away.
