Hello Friends and Family! I just wanted to let you know what was going on with us here recently. Andrew has an exciting opportunity to travel to Turkey to spread the Gospel! He will be leaving on April 2 (Good Friday) and will spend a week in Izmir, Turkey. Izmir is just a few minutes north of Ephesus - yes, the Ephesus to which Paul wrote the letter now called Ephesians. He will be going with a group of 25 LC students and staff. Andrew's group consists of himself and 5 students, while there will be two groups in Istanbul and a small group in Van, Turkey. They will be involved in a variety of outreach ministries with most of their time being spent on college campuses. He is very excited about what the Lord will do in Turkey! Some of you reading this will receive a letter in the mail in just a few days, giving you more details of the trip and ways you can help. I am always shocked at the number of people that read our blog and wanted to share this information with all of you. There are a few things Andrew needs before he goes on this trip. Most importantly, they need your prayers. Please pray that God will spiritually prepare Andrew, the rest of the team from LC, and the Turks they will come in contact with; that He will bless their journey and keep them safe as they minister to the Turkish people; that God will provide financially for this trip. We ask that you seek God's direction about how you can help finance Andrew's trip. He has to raise $1700 for this trip, which is alot of money for a family of 4.
