The high school here in town does a wonderful job with their theater department. Since we've lived here, we've seen Peter Pan and Cinderella. This year they are doing Beauty and the Beast. As a fundraiser, they had a "Be our guest" party with all the characters. They gave the girls little books so they could get autographs from their favorite characters. Then they took a special picture on stage with Belle and the prince and one with Mrs. Potts and Chip. So much fun!
Of all the characters they could see, the one they talked about the most before and after the party was Lafou (the bad guy's sidekick). He is their favorite from the movie and meeting him was the highlight of their afternoon.
Babette (a feather duster) is the girls' music teacher's daughter. She is very sweet and very talented.
I just loved his costume!
