Yesterday was LC's first home game of the season and the debut of the LC Marching Band. It's been 40 something years since they have had a marching band. They did half of their Christian Music Through the Ages show, which included "Down to the River to Pray" and a southern gospel medley. They sounded good and looked great! Everyone was so excited, having a full marching band certainly finally made it feel like a real college football experience! Andrew has worked very hard as you can imagine, he was pretty pleased with how it all turned out.
We had to march with the band to be able to get into the stadium and it was a hard walk for 2 sets of tiny legs.
Allie's new friend and favorite babysitter Miss Mary Evelyn took her onto the field to watch the cheerleaders up close.
