Playing Outside

I cannot tell you how much we have enjoyed having such a nice backyard. The girls go outside and play atleast once a day, usually right before bathtime when it's nice and cool. Today though, when we got home from school it was beautiful. There was a wonderful breeze and it wasn't too hot, so we played after lunch. We had such a good time eating popsicles on the back porch, swinging on the swingset, and finding lots of fun treasures. The girls have given me a renewed excitement for experiencing God's amazing creation. We've spotted bird's nests, butterflies, hummingbirds, flowers, squirrels, and lots of insects.

My camera seems to be acting up, so alot of the pictures are very dark. Let's just go ahead and put that on the Christmas Wish List...new camera!

Such a big girl! She climbs up that ladder herself. I still panic a little every time I watch her do it though.

We spent alot of time hunting for locusts shells.
