Introducing......

Meet the newest addition to the Hunter family.....Madeline Summitt. She is a sweet, 8 week old Bluetick Coonhound puppy. She arrived in Louisiana via Alabama (thanks to the Prices) on Halloween. She is very sweet and the perfect little lap dog. She is still very much a puppy and very playful. It's taken Anna Grace some time to get used to her, but I can finally see her getting over some of her fears. Allie loves her and has been a huge help. She can feed her, take her out, and we've been working on getting her to sit on command. We are crate training her and that is going surprisingly well. It doesn't hurt that she came already kinda housebroken. For the Prices that are reading this that stayed in our house the first couple of nights she was here, you would be happy to hear she doesn't whine anymore when put in her crate. We had a long debate over her name but I think we have come to a conclusion. She has to have two names to be registered with the UKC so we are naming her Madeline Summitt. Madeline is what Allie wanted to name her and Summitt is what Daddy wanted to name her. So, she will be both. The weather has been so beautiful here the last couple of days, that I've been able to let the girls and the dog go run in the backyard. They have a blast!

Anna Grace fell asleep on the couch and Madeline jumped up there and fell right asleep with her, too sweet!
