The Princess and the Pea!

For Halloween this year Allie wanted to be a princess, of course. What 3 year old girl doesn't want to be a princess. So she wore the princess dress that Aunt Carey bought her when she was in London (Allie was just a few months old then). She was quickly transformed into a beautiful princess! Grandmother brought in a stand up mirror from a back room so Allie could look at herself, and look she did, over and over. She wore it all the whole night, I was very impressed with my little princess. Of course, you can't have a princess without a pea....Carolyn and Grandmother came up with that combination. They were quite the pair! We were in Tuscaloosa for Halloween, so Carolyn and I took the girls to two churches to do some Trunk or Treating. It didn't take long for Allie to figure out that if you open your bag someone will put candy in it. Before long she was a trunk or treating pro.

Grandmother and Aunt Carolyn thought she needed some good princess trunk or treating shoes, so they found her these sparkly pink tennis shoes.

This litte pea almost didn't make it trunk or treating!

What a Sweet Pea!
(lame I know, but it had to be said)

trunk or treating

At one church all the trunks had themes and this one was the Wizard of Oz
